Abstract

The importance that exists today, on the conjunction between the use and application of technology and digitization in the educational field is undeniable. There are many innovative and interesting projects developed by universities around the world where they take advantage of the advent of communication 2.0 and social networks in the teaching-learning processes, through the development of digital products available to the world, as well as the opening of spaces where this multimedia content can be shared. During 2020, the Latin American University of Science and Technology (ULACIT) launched a project called Moxie, which consists of students of different courses, careers and levels preparing content through a scientific essay, an audiovisual piece related and an illustrative image on a current topic, to be shared on digital media. The main objective of this study is to determine the perception of ULACIT students about the application of the Moxie Project as a tool in the teaching-learning process. As a main conclusion, this project has had a quite interesting evolution in its initial implementation period, which denotes certain drawbacks that have been overcome as the tool has been applied over time.
