Abstract

The coronavirus that has affected us, COVID-19, has generated a global pandemic, and it has been a public health emergency. This, without a doubt, has also generated a deep and significant crisis in the mental health of all people. All the studies carried out in this regard have shown the appearance of psychosocial consequences and psychological symptoms, in which, clearly, sleep disturbances and the circadian cycle are found. This study aims to be a contribution to this same objective. A survey was conducted during the third quarter of 2020 to 485 students at the Latin American University of Sciences and Technology, ULACIT, of various careers. An online survey was applied, where various possibilities of information on the subjective quality of sleep and possible disorders of the same were investigated. Other variables such as age, sex, use of stimulant substances. It was observed that 67% of those surveyed have bad sleep practices and therefore have some sleep disturbance.
